BRING YOUR LIGHT
Dear guest,
Welcome to Bona Fide.
As an educator for the past 13 years across England, France and Indonesia, I have been leveraging my multidisciplinary background in social sciences, humanities and sustainability for social impact.
From September 2020 - July 2021, my role at University Cergy Paris enabled me to teach courses on American and British History (16th Century - Present), Geography and Politics, at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The pandemic shifted learning largely online, and with that came new opportunities and challenges for all.
As part of my ongoing research and efforts to share, stimulate and continue the conversation on urgent issues that affect us all, beyond the classroom and zoom room, I founded Bona Fide.
Bona Fide houses a growing library of diverse stories, data, analyses, and personal testimonies.
Bona Fide invites and welcomes contributors from all over the world, to publish their own thoughts and experiences, as part of a growing international community of critical thinkers and doers.
Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of Bona Fide's values, valuing not only what we have in common but also our differences. As such Bona Fide invites contributions in all languages. Translation work will be carried out where possible.
Bona Fide resources welcomed include:
*stories *opinion pieces *essays *articles *scholarly academic research *art *photography *music* films *documentaries
as well as any signposts to other related websites (for more information see About).
Inquiries into identity and our place in this world can throw up more questions than answers -
Why are we here?
What do we need to do and why?
How do I live a life of peace and harmony?
How do we make the world a better place for myself and for all?
How has our society been shaped, should be shaped and what direction we are and should be going in?
Your thoughts and your voice will be much appreciated in this dialogue.
If you want to contribute, share or recommend any resources - contact me.

Stay safe and take care,
Razali
