"My friend Djalil and I often had conversations about different types of discriminations. I always loved debating with him because he had interesting arguments and we both could talk about different types of discriminations one of us had lived but not the other one.
"It appeared to us that a lot of people didn’t even notice when their behaviour was discriminating and that the simple fact of telling them about it changed their attitude."
So, a couple months ago, Djalil came to me with the idea of creating an association whose purpose was to raise awareness on different types of discrimination without incriminating anyone.
We don’t mean to blame anyone but just to share our stories and inform people of what others might go through.
We decided to create 5 divisions with each division having 1 representative that oversees the production of content : feminism, bodyshaming, lgbtq+, racism and the disabled.
The idea is to create content (articles, interviews, testimonies, etc.) available on our future website.
We also wanted to contact bigger associations in order to organize conferences but the current situation can’t make that happen.
